Signing Off

After much thought and evaluating my time, I have decided to let my blog go. It's not something I really want to do but for right now it's what is best for my family. I just don't have the time to keep the blog updated like I would like. I may come back someday, or maybe start a new blog about Royal Family Kids' Camp as I get my camp here in Grand Junction up and running. I will let you know when I decide to come back.

Did You Know Mom,......

J has been so funny lately. We got up and he wanted an apple now that he had lost his tooth. So I'm fixing his apple and just out of the blue he looks up at me ad says......"You know Mom, if we opened up that apple and put a bunch of ice cubes in the middle, and sew it up again, It would be a really cold Apple." Now my question is where is a 5 year old going to come up with the idea of cutting open fruit, Stuffing that fruit with ice cubes and then know that you would need to sew said fruit back up? What a funny yet smart child I have.



I must confess that I am not doing well with the blog and keeping it up to date. I wish I could say that we have just been so busy and I haven't had time, but that's not the case. I have been trying to spend more time with J in the evenings and on the weekends when he's out of school. This cold snowy weather is really getting the best of him.

Well here I am back to finish my post two and a half hours after I started because J came home and .....you guessed it, He needed my attention. This is why I don't get to blog a whole lot.

J needed a bath as soon as he walked in the door after his all day play date with Grandpa. So I'm giving him his bath and all of a sudden he says to me, "Mom, when you Baptize me, make sure you do it where there is some fish around so I can bite one and eat it for dinner." Again, where does he get this stuff.

Lot's of Changes

As you can see, I've been working on my blog and making a lot changes to it in an effort to make it more interesting and fun. I was trying to put a banner and a few small pictures up but couldn't figure out how but I like how it has turned out. Let me know what you think of the new blog design.

I have finally downloaded all my holiday pictures. I know.....I'm way behind. I need to do some editing and stuff but I will get some up for you all to see. One of J's Christmas presents was a sleeping bag and tent set. A Lightening MaQueen on of course. He LOVES it. He has slept in that sleeping bag and tent every night since Christmas night. It's pretty cute. Good thing it all fits on his bed.

I will post pictures soon....I'm having trouble uploading them for some reason.

This Aint' My First Rodeo!

Jeremiah and his Grandpa have been spending a lot of time together here lately. They did A LOT during the two weeks J was out of school. My dad was born and raised on a farm and all though I love very much He does have his own way of saying things. J's favorite is telling us that he'll see us "Tuesday of next Summer" when ever he leaves to go somewhere with Grandpa. The other night J was taking his bath and time had come......Time to wash the hair.....The worst part! I was trying to help him a little bit especially with the rinsing out part. I had done this twice now and when J popped his head up out of the water the second time He WAS NOT happy. I told him he had to rinse out the back too he let out the biggest *sigh*, rolled his eyes and said to me "Mom, This aint' my first rodeo ya know" I was the sigh, the rolling of the eyes and the way he said it that made it so dag gone funny.

I know I said earlier that I was going to upload my Christmas pictures and post them so you all could see them. We have been having Internet problems and I haven't been able to do anything. I'm very sorry, maybe it will soon be fixed and I can share a few pictures.
